Here is a poem that MaryLynn wrote. I wonder if this was inspired by all the things going on in the world today.
Night and Day
Dark is night.
Day is light.
Day hates night,
and night hates
light. How long
must this fight
last, until the world
grows dim and night
and day are at peace
again.
I think this guest blogger has a long, promising future in writing the kind of poetry that speaks to the soul.
ReplyDeleteThis poem asks a very good question. I think that, when the day comes that dark and light are no longer enemies, the Lamb and the Lion might just lie down together without any ire.
